A variety of English Language Programs are offered to provide a range of intensities, academic needs and durations. Levels from Beginner to Advanced are available (see 'Placement Test & Proficiency Levels' below). Classes are held from Monday to Friday. Each class is 45 minutes long.
Intensive Program
Levels: Pre-intermediate to Advanced
Duration: minimum 2 weeks
Classes: 28 classes per week (21 hours)
The Intensive English Program consists of 28 classroom lessons, held in the mornings and afternoons. Morning classes (20 classes per week) integrates the four language skills; reading, writing, speaking, and listening, according to the needs and requirements of each level, ensuring a well-balanced course.
Afternoon classes (8 classes per week) are designed according to the needs and requirements of each level:
Lower-level students focus on communication skills: listening, speaking, pronunciation and vocabulary.
Higher-level students may choose between 3-4 afternoon options: conversation, business English, exam preparation (IELTS / Cambridge ), academic study skills grammar clinic, vocabulary and pronunciation. Some of these options are subject to availability.
Intensive Program with IELTS
Levels: Intermediate to Advanced
Duration: 6 weeks
Classes: 28 classes per week (21 hours)
The Intensive Program with IELTS (International English Language Testing Service) program is designed for students who wish to study at an English-speaking university. This intensive 6-week program offers specialist preparation for the IELTS examination. Many of the teachers on this course are IELTS examiners and have many years' experience in preparing students for this examination. The program consists of two sections:
Section 1 ¨C General English (20 classes/ week)
This part of the program covers all areas of General English including reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar.
Section 2 ¨C IELTS Preparation (8 classes/week)
This part of the program covers the grammar, vocabulary and language skills required in the IELTS examination. These lessons will also cover exam techniques and regular practice exams.
Many of the teachers on this course are IELTS examiners and have many years' experience in preparing students for this examination.
Intensive Program with Business
Levels : Intermediate to Advanced
Duration : 6 weeks
Classes : 28 classes per week (21 hours)
Designed for Intermediate to Advanced levels, the Intensive Program with Business combines General English with Business English. The program consists of two sections:
Section 1 ¨C General English (20 classes/week)
This part of the program covers all areas of General English including reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar.
Section 2 ¨C Business English and English for Commerce (8 classes/week)
These lessons focus on the language skills needed in a variety of business situations such as negotiations, meetings, presentations, business correspondence and business socialising.
Summer English
Levels : Elementary to Advanced
Duration : 2-10 weeks
Classes : 20 classes per week (15 hours)
The Summer English Program consists of 20 lessons, held in the mornings or afternoons. The program consists of two sections:
10 lessons per week ¨C General English. Classes integrates the four language skills; reading, writing, speaking, and listening, according to the needs and requirements of each level, ensuring a well-balanced course.
10 lessons per week ¨C Using English. These lessons allow students to use and improve their English whilst doing activities such as drama, video, songs, role-play and conversation.
Compact yeat
Levels: Elementary to Advanced
Duration: Minimum 24 weeks
Classes: 20 classes per week (15 hours)

The Compact English Program consists of 20 classroom lessons, held in the mornings. The program integrates all areas of general English; reading, writing, speaking, listening, and pronunciation according to the needs and requirements of each class, ensuring a well-balanced course. The curriculum is based on the needs of each proficiency level (see below for description) and is designed to allow participants to progress rapidly and achieve language fluency. Emphasis is placed on developing participants' oral expression, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing, and grammatical skills.
Modern and interactive teaching methods focus on instilling linguistic, practical, communicative, and cultural aspects of the language.
University Foundation Year
Duration: 9 months
Classes: 28 classes per week (21 hours)
Start dates: January and September
Requirements: IELTS 5.5, Cambridge First Certificate Exam or equivalent plus good high school grades needed

Minimum Age: 17
The University Foundation Year program is a demanding and highly respected academic program aimed at students who wish to study at undergraduate level at a British University. The program provides access to a wide range of degree courses at over 50 universities in the UK.
The University Foundation year is derived from A-level syllabuses, and is taught by specialist subject teachers. It is recognized by many British universities as a progression route to first degree courses in humanities, social sciences, business, engineering and computer science subjects.
The aim of the program is:
- To raise students’ English language skills to the levels demanded by British Universities
- To teach students to study efficiently and effectively in English
- Help students to acquire new expertise in academic study skills
- Prepare students for the IELTS examination
- Prepare students for life at a British university
Subjects may include: Communication and Study Skills, Data Handling, Information Technology, European Thought Science in Society, Economics and Politics, government and Law, Mathematics and Physics.
PRE-FOUNDATION YEAR
Duration: 1 or 2 semesters (5 or 9 months)
Classes: 20 classes per week (15 hours)

Requirements: English language level equivalent to IELTS 4.5. Students must have completed 10 to 11 years of school.
Minimum Age: 16
The Pre-Foundation year program is a program of English and academic studies to prepare younger students for entry to the Foundation Year.
ONE-TO-ONE

Duration: Minimum 1 week

These specially tailored programs are designed to offer a fully personalised method of teaching according to the student's specific needs and requirements. Classes are private and curriculum is flexible to allow the student to decide the schedule and content. One-to-one classes are ideal for those who whish to study specific subject areas related to their profession. One-to-one lessons are available in general English, Business English and a variety of specialist areas such as TOEFL preparation, English for Law, Technical English, etc.

First, participants are placed according to the proficiency level they indicate on the application form. At the start of the program, all students complete a placement test and are placed in the appropriate class according to their level of English.
ELEMENTARY
This level is for those who have learnt basic vocabulary and can express themselves in simple sentences on common topics. Classes focus on building participants' vocabulary, grammar and sentence structures. Class work includes everyday topics and participants are encouraged to converse and express themselves using basic sentence structures.
PRE -INTERMEDIATE
This level is for those who have a grasp of simple sentence structures, and have learnt basic grammar systematically. Classes focus on improving participants' vocabulary, sentence structures, listening, reading, and speaking skills. Phonetics exercises and drills ensure that participants learn the correct pronunciation and intonation.
INTERMEDIATE
This level is for those who are able to converse on general topics and express themselves using more complex sentence structures in English. Participants learn to communicate in various situations with clarity and confidence, including describing personal experiences. Writing and reading comprehension exercises include composing personal letters and understanding general work correspondences.
UPPER INTERMEDIATE
This level is for those who are able to converse on various topics and express themselves using complex sentence structures. Classes build on increasing the level of grammar and vocabulary, enabling participants to express themselves functionally in different contexts. Emphasis is placed on participants' grammar, syntax, writing, oral expression, and listening comprehension skills.
PRE-ADVANCED
This level is for those who can discuss specific topics, raise complex questions, and express their opinions clearly using correct pronunciation. Participants can express themselves systematically using appropriate expressions and language norms. The curriculum is focused on enabling participants to express themselves proficiently at an abstract level.
ADVANCED
This level is for those who possess a high command of the English language and culture and are able to converse fluently and effectively using appropriate expressions and language norms. The curriculum is focused on enabling participants to master the language and express themselves in a proficient manner at an abstract level.
To ensure a comprehensive learning experience, a range of social, cultural and leisure programs are offered for no additional cost, within the total program. Social and cultural activities are an important component of learning, and provide participants with a deeper understanding of the British lifestyle, history, and culture. Activities are held in the afternoons or weekends and may include:

Participants' progress is assessed through continuous homework assignments and tests throughout the programs. At the successful completion of the program, a certificate is awarded certifying the type of program and the completed level of proficiency.
