An important aspect of this immersion program are the guided excursions. They are provided free, and vary weekly. They give participants education outside the classroom, expanding their vocabulary and knowledge of the rich and varied culture of France and French tradition, history, art and society.
An experienced and qualified guide provides invaluable information about the places visited and accompanies the excursions. Admission and transport is provided free of charge.
Optional weekend tours to other cities requiring overnight accommodation are available at additional cost. The following are examples of the array of excursions offered depending on the program location.
Places visited may include:
- The Eiffel Tower
- The Latin Quarter
- The Notre-Dame Cathedral
- The Louvre
- The Museum of Modern Art
- The Picasso Museum
- Musée d'Orsay
Overnight excursions are available at additional cost, and may include:
- The Loire Valley and its famous castles
- Mont Saint-Michel
- Saint-Malo
