Accommodation Options (subject to availability)

• Host Family: Single room with Japanese family. Half board provided; breakfast and dinner on weekdays; breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekends.
• Student Dormitory: Live in a Dormitory with other students. Each room is furnished with a bed, desk, chair, and air-conditioning. Single private rooms are provided with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. No meals provided.
• Residence: Live in a single room in an international residence. Each room is furnished with a bed, desk, chair, and air-conditioning. Single private rooms are provided with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Double shared room is available for two students applying together and studying for the same duration. No meals provided.
• Private Apartment: Private apartment suitable for 1 person or couple. One bedroom with separate kitchen and bathroom. No meals provided.
• Hotel: Hotel accommodation is available, for more information contact WLE.

Accommodation generally starts on the Saturday prior to the first day of the program until 12:00 noon on the Saturday following the last day of the program. However, for students staying at the Residence, accommodation is included from the Friday before the program starts until the Monday after the program ends. Students should arrive between 9am and 1.30pm, Monday to Friday, in order to pick up their keys during office hours. Students arriving outside these times must provide for their own accommodation until the keys can be picked up.

Please Note: For Residence and Private Apartment accommodation, a cash deposit of 20,000 Yen (approx. USD $180) is required to be paid on arrival. The deposit is returned provided there are no damages to the accommodation and it is clean. For Student Dormitory, Residence and Private Apartment accommodation, electricity, gas and other utilities are not included. Approximate cost of utilities per month: 10,000 Yen (approx. USD $90).

Japanese Language Programs
Participants may choose one of the following Japanese Language Programs.

1) Intensive Program (Elementary to Advanced levels only)
Start Dates Long Term: Jan 13, Apr 6, Jul 6 & Oct 5, 2009. Short Term: start on any Monday.

2) Regular Program (All levels)
Start Dates Total Beginners: Jan 13, Apr 6, Jul 6 & Oct 5, 2009. Non-Beginners: start on any Monday.

Japanese Language & Karate This Calendar contains the total program fee that includes Language classes, Martial Arts Training, Accommodation, Meals (where specified), Accommodation Placement Fee, Registration, Books, Travel medical insurance, Certificate, Airport Pickup, Orientation, Welcome Information, Excursions, Social Activities and Internet use. Fees are in US Dollars. *Double shared room is available for two students applying together and studying for the same duration. #Early application is highly recommended. Preference is given to long term students. We apologize for any inconvenience.
